  I never bought an airgun before. I wanted to buy an airgun from an out of area dealer, so I asked this shop if they would pick it up for me. Julie responded promptly to say that they could. After I confirmed my order with the other shop to Julie, only then did she inform me that there is a £25 transfer fee, then claiming that I didn't make it clear that I wasn't buying from them (!). We exchanged several e-mails within 30 minutes, however she claimed that she informed me of the fee as soon as reasonably possible (!!). I'm now aware that most shops charge £20-25 for this service, and it's not about the fee; it's about the obligation of doing business in a more decent manner - unless of course Julie never sold anything to first time buyers and she never thought of this. She could have just told me of the fee straight from her first e-mail. I'm now picking up my order from another shop. I still have the e-mail thread.
